Who are you bringing to Kelowna’s newest karaoke night? 🎤

I’ll be honest, karaoke isn’t usually my thing. But sometimes making friends as an adult means stepping outside your comfort zone, right? 😅 I ended up having such a fun time and am so glad I went!

The best part imo is that you can sing right from your table (no nerve-wracking stage!) and enjoy delicious ramen while sipping soju and trying things like baby octopus.

@t1asianfusion just kicked off karaoke nights every Saturday from 8pm ‘til late. You can sing pretty much anything and drinks are 20% off for the rest of May!

We finally checked out this new restaurant over the weekend and immediately wondered why we hadn’t gone sooner.

I had the Deluxe Mazesoba and Jacob ordered the Szechuan Mala Ramen with soft-boiled eggs. It all had so much flavour and large portions, even without the free size upgrade.

We also grabbed the Meat-Topped Gyoza, Chicken Karaage, and finished it off with tiramisu.

The whole meal was phenomenal!

Kokoro’s a Japanese restaurant known for their mazesoba which is a dry-style ramen packed with toppings. I’d never had it before (or even heard of it to be honest), but I’m now a huge fan!

Reservations are recommended for their Grand Opening ✨

It’s HUGE, apparently weighs 3.5 lbs and is loaded with all kinds of deliciousness like rosemary ham, roast beef, roasted turkey, aged cheddar, swiss, monterey jack, avocado, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, and more.

These are perfect if you’re looking for a quick adventure, something kid-friendly, or just a peaceful walk close to home.

1️⃣ Hidden Lake Parkway is a short, flat trail in Wilden that follows two little ponds. It’s calm, quiet, and full of wildlife. Watch for birds, turtles, and the occasional frog!

2️⃣ Mt Baldy can be as mellow or as challenging as you want. There are a bunch of different trails, some that circle the base and others that climb to the top for awesome views of the city.

3️⃣ Quail Flume and Eagle View wind through the pine trees between UBCO and Quail’s Ridge. They’re very peaceful and you might even spot a bald eagle if you’re lucky.
